Job summary
LA International is seeking a Business Architect for a 6‑month contract with hybrid work options, based in Leiston, Suffolk. You will coordinate site connectivity initiatives, interface with Digital & IT, suppliers and programme teams, and mobilise services into new buildings and operational areas.
The role requires experience in complex infrastructure projects, site mobilisation, and strong stakeholder management.
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating complex infrastructure, facilities, telecommunications, networking, or connectivity projects.
- Experience with physical hardware fit design, planning, procurement, and installation.
- Experience working on large site mobilisation programmes.
- Familiarity with management of facilities and site operations teams, contractors, and service providers.
- Proven ability to translate business problems into IT delivery packages (processes, user stories, data needs).
- Knowledge of ONR licence conditions and cyber/nuclear security requirements for IT-enabled change.
- Experience with PRINCE2 and procurement/evaluation processes (RFI/ITT).
- Proven track record developing investment cases for large, complex programmes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate site connectivity initiatives across multiple construction and operational workstreams.
- Interface between site operations, Digital & IT, suppliers and delivery teams.
- Mobilise connectivity services into new buildings, compounds and operational areas.
- Engage with facilities, construction, logistics and contractor teams on site requirements.
- Ensure governance, assurance and approval activities are completed.
- Support investment cases, project documentation and programme reporting.
- Coordinate supplier activities and track delivery commitments.
- Escalate blockers and delivery risks proactively.
- Maintain stakeholder alignment across teams.
- Support transition and handover activities for connectivity services.
