Based in the heart of Soho, facilities include three 4K HDR Baselight Grading Theatres, three Flame Online suites, Digital Dailies facilities, Dark Fibre connectivity and a full Mastering and QC department.

The world‑renowned Sound facilities include four mixing Theatres, in‑house Sound Supervision and Editorial, ADR Facilities, alongside a café and a fully licensed Bar, and 40 Cutting Rooms. De Lane Lea also has additional facilities based at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, including a 50 seat 4K Screening Room, 4K VFX Review Theatre and In‑Facility and On‑Location Digital Dailies.

The state‑of‑the‑art facilities and award‑winning talent allow Warner Bros. De Lane Lea to deliver TV and feature films to extraordinary levels of detail and creativity, combined with an exceptional level of service.

Your New Role...

Are you ready to dive into the world of high‑end post‑production? We’re looking for a dynamic Conform & Colour Assistant to join our team and help bring creative visions to life. If you’re passionate about colour grading and the technical magic behind the scenes, this is your chance to work at the cutting edge of finishing. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to support world‑class colourists and artists to deliver stunning results.

In this role, no 2 days are the same. From prepping projects and managing workflows to scripting automation and ensuring flawless quality control, you’ll be hands‑on with every stage of the process.

If you’re a multi‑skilled problem solver with an eye for detail, a love for technology, and the drive to learn and adapt, we want to hear from you!

Your Role Accountabilities...
  • Management of data incoming (from shoots and Editorial), outgoing (to Broadcasters and Online Portals), and the backup, archiving, and restoration of projects as required. It will also involve the delivery and acceptance of data files to and from VXF teams/vendors.

  • Knowledge of Editorial practice and edit systems, e.g. Avid, ISIS, FCP, Premiere Pro, associated EDLs and how to manage files during import and export. Operation of these editing tools for basic tasks will be required from time to time. This will include digitising, syncing of rushes, media file creation, labelling, project restores and creating EDLs. This will also include the delivery of final offline elements to the Sound and VFX studios.

  • Setting up projects for colourists within the Baselight system and assisting with exporting and rendering. This requires a good basic knowledge of Avid, Baselight and Flame systems, specifically to conform, recuts, VFX drop‑ins and final deliverables.

  • Establish templates for transcoding and undertake transcoding tasks as required by artists and the production team.

  • Frontline technical support for the colourist team, which requires knowledge of video and audio systems (hardware and software) used throughout the facility, i.e. monitors, video router, and projector.

  • Quality Checking of Masters and Master Files, so a knowledge of film delivery and broadcast standards is preferred. This checking is not just a technical assessment but is also a subjective assessment, looking for image artefacts that may not have been picked up in the final checks of a master by the Colourist or Flame artist.

  • To show a full understanding of tapeless workflows from camera to final delivery. Knowledge of all major digital cameras and standard practices around extractions, VFX pulls, colour management and delivery formats.

Qualifications & Experiences...
  • Extensive experience as a Baselight operator, preferably within a high‑end facility environment.

  • Experience with Resolve, Avid Media Composer, FCP and Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Good level of knowledge of Flame and Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Intermediate IT Skills, preferably with strong knowledge of Linux.

  • Exposure to processes and etiquette around high‑end Television Drama and Feature Projects.

  • Familiarity with Conditions of Service, Contract of Employment, Health and Safety and their impact on staff.

  • Understands the importance of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden values, policies, procedures and guidelines, including Health & Safety guidelines.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
