Job summary

Akkodis is recruiting a Configuration and Data Management Engineer to support aerospace and defence projects based in Crawley. You will manage configuration across the full product lifecycle, ensuring baselines, data integrity and controlled change processes in collaboration with engineering, business and operations teams.

The role focuses on CM activities, audits, supplier and subcontractor data, and maintaining PLM configurations using PALMA or Windchill.

Qualifications

• Experience in defence or aerospace is required.
• Experience across full lifecycle from concept to sustainment.
• Strong CM principles, baselines and engineering change control.
• Knowledge of systems, hardware and software configuration practices.
• Experience using PLM tools such as PALMA or Windchill.
• Experience supporting configuration audits, change boards and technical reviews.
• Attention to detail and data integrity.
• Process-driven, analytical and organised.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

We are currently looking for a Configuration and Data Management Engineer to support complex aerospace and defence engineering projects based in Crawley.

This role will focus on supporting Configuration Management activity across the full product lifecycle, working closely with engineering, business and operations teams to ensure configuration data, baselines and change processes are accurate, consistent and controlled.

Required experience:

• Experience supporting configuration audits, change boards and technical reviews

Required education:

• Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience within Configuration Management
