• Can build strong 2-day agendas reflective of industry-specific requirements and needs.
• Act as Project Manager for each event, liaising continually with other relevant departments to ensure smooth on-site preparation and delivery.
• The ability to manage time effectively, balancing multiple conference responsibilities at once.
• The ability to assimilate information quickly and effectively.
• A tenacious and enthusiastic approach.
• Good time management and a can-do attitude.
• A commercial outlook on the industry.
• Excellent one-to-one communication and team skills.
• Min 5 years of Conference Production within larger events.

Responsibilities

• Research, write & produce large sale business conferences.
• Produce each event to the highest quality possible, curating content for the relevant event.
• Ensure data is requested and received from all invited and confirmed speakers and workshop leaders, added to the internal database daily.
• Ensure deadlines are met and production targets achieved and exceeded.
• Maximise event profitability (keeping speakers' expenses to a minimum).
• Work with Marketing to check all marketing material relevant to your conferences, advising on associations, societies, and journals for external marketing activity and providing a mid-production brief.

My client is a highly professional, world leading business that specialises in the production of B2B Conferences to core business sectors across Defence & Security, Due To expansion a role has arisen for an innovative lead producer to work on their record-breaking Defence & Security portfolio, taking the event to the next level whilst using strategic & commercial nous, a great opportunity for an experienced producer with an interest in the sector.

Key Tasks

• Research, write & produce large sale business conferences.
• Produce each event to the highest quality possible, curating content for the relevant event
• Ensure data is requested and received from all invited and confirmed speakers and workshop leaders and added to the internal database daily.
• Ensure deadlines are met and production targets achieved and exceeded.
• Maximise event profitability (keeping speakers' expenses to a minimum)
• Work with Marketing to check all marketing material relevant to your conferences, advising them on how best to attract potential delegates, making suggestions of associations, societies, and journals suitable for external marketing activity. Provide a mid-production marketing brief to add any developments or refinements to the initial research brief.

Add additional value to the conference programme wherever possible.
