Job summary

BHC Ltd. is recruiting Concrete operatives to join busy UK-wide teams. You will work on commercial and agricultural projects, performing concreting tasks and coordinating with other trades on larger sites.

Ideal candidates will hold SSSTS/CSCS and CPCS licenses (training available) and have experience with civils/construction. A clean driving licence and willingness to travel away from home are required.

Qualifications

• SSSTS, CSCS and CPCS operating licenses preferred (although training will be given).
• Experience of carrying out the role with civils contractors / construction companies.
• Working away from home.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Company Health and Safety Policy and ensure that it is brought to the attention of all employees.
• Be involved with the construction of commercial and agricultural projects.
• Various concreting works including slabs, foundations, formation works, and reinforcement.
• On larger projects may require coordinating and interfacing with other works such as steel erecting and cladding.
• Expected to be aware and raise alarm at the presence of dangers on site and adhere to strict health and safety regulations.
• Clean Driving licence.
• Working away from home.

Due to the growth and expansion of the business we are recruiting Concrete operatives to join our busy teams working UK wide. Our construction projects vary from commercial units to agricultural buildings and house building.

As key members of the construction team you will be required to work within a team. You will report to the Construction and Project Managers, undertaking a wide variety of construction projects.

Experience is essential, working within a Concrete squad, ideally with experience working on various projects including Placing and Finishing.

You must also have and in date SSSTS, CSCS, CPCS Plant, with First Aid being desirable.
