NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers for RC frame projects in the UK. You will join RC frame teams and work to place, level and finish concrete across slabs, walls and cores, ensuring quality finishes to drawings and specifications.

The role requires CSCS card, proven RC frame finishing experience, and strong safety practices. Desirable NVQ Level 2 in Concrete Finishing and ride-on power float certification. Competitive rates and ongoing work available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for experienced Concrete Finishers to join our RC frame teams on a busy project in Little Stone - New Romney. You will work closely with the concrete and formwork teams to place, level and finish concrete across structural elements, ensuring all works are completed safely, to specification and to the required standard of finish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Placing, levelling and finishing concrete across slabs, walls, columns, cores, staircases and other RC frame elements
• Screeding, tamping, trowelling and hand finishing concrete to the required line, level and finish
• Experience in Power Floating
• Striking off concrete and achieving specified levels, falls and tolerances
• Carrying out rubbing up, patching, filling, grinding and making-good works to finished concrete
• Identifying defects and completing snagging works to achieve the required finish
• Reading and interpreting drawings, levels and finish specifications
• Cleaning and maintaining tools and finishing equipment
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
• Following site RAMS, health & safety procedures and site rules at all times

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid CSCS card relevant to the role
• Proven experience working as a Concrete Finisher on RC frame projects
• Good practical knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques
• Experience achieving the required levels, falls and surface tolerances
• Experience carrying out concrete repairs, making-good and remedial works
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of an RC frame team
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE

• NVQ Level 2 in Concrete Finishing or equivalent
• 1 year' experience working as a Concrete Finisher on RC frame / reinforced concrete projects
• Experience working on large-scale residential, commercial or high-rise concrete frames
• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Ride-On Power Float or relevant plant certification
• Face Fit Certification
