HOUSING CONCIERGE WORKER

Salary – £17,846 per annum

Job Type – Permanent / Part-Time

Hours – 30 hours per week

Location – Salford

This role provides an excellent springboard into other criminal justice professions and housing roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an initial point of reference for service users and external agencies.
  • Implement security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the service and respond to faults as discovered.
  • Monitor access to the services and visitors and log and report incidents and antisocial behaviour.
  • Meet the requirements of health and safety policies and practices.
  • Escalate incidents to on-call services where needed.
  • Maintain accurate written records e.g. incidents, handover, support or risk plans.
  • Report any maintenance issues e.g. emergency repairs.
  • Process referrals to the service using the Mainstay system.

  • Knowledge of the issues affecting people in contact with the Criminal Justice System and / or people experiencing homelessness.
  • Understanding of safeguarding.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable adults with complex needs (such as substance misuse, physical health, mental health, seeking employment and housing support).
