Responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Concept Development Technologists, setting clear goals, reviewing performance, and promoting high standards of work.

• Drive creative and trend-led product development including recipe creation and benchmarking.

• Oversee the full concept-to-launch development process, ensuring adherence, accurate documentation, costings, sample submissions, and collaboration across departments.

• Ensure all products meet food safety, quality standards, shelf-life requirements, and BRC criteria, while maintaining detailed technical records and supporting factory trials and launches.

• Champion best-in-class NPD processes, support ingredient/equipment trials, uphold HACCP and technical approvals, and promote a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen environment.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday and site-based in the East Midlands, with a salary on offer of £50,000–£60,000, depending on experience.
