Pink Tile Education is supporting a secondary school in Hailsham in recruiting a passionate and skilled Computing Teacher for a full-time, long-term position.

We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who can inspire students and deliver high-quality computing education across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching a broad range of computing topics, including programming, computer systems, and digital literacy, and be committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective computing lessons to secondary students
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum objectives
  • Support students’ learning, development, and progress
  • Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities where appropriate
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and support school initiatives
Essential Criteria
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in computing and ICT
  • Experience teaching secondary students, ideally across multiple key stages
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for inspiring young learners
Desirable
