Job summary

A technology staffing company is seeking a Computer Repair Technician in Wanborough, UK. The role involves assisting in testing and repairing gaming PCs and laptops, requiring effective communication skills and knowledge of computer hardware.   • Perform computer networking tasks, including setting up and maintaining network connections.
  • Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble and disassemble computer systems.

About the Computer Repair Technician Role:
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday, flexible start times
  • £26K per annum, depending on experience
  • Temporary role to start, with potential to become permanent
  • Based in Dorcan, Swindon
  • Electronics training will be provided
  • Role to start ASAP
Duties for the Computer Repair Technician Role:
  • Working in the Repair Centre you will be assisting with testing, diagnostics & replacing / repairing faulty components
  • PAT testing
  • Liaising with Tech Agents requesting specification information of PC's / laptops
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software
  • Perform computer networking tasks, including setting up and maintaining network connections
  • Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble and disassemble computer systems
Experience / Skills Required for the Computer Repair Technician Role:
