Computer Science Teacher Required

Salary/ Rate: £160 - £250 per day depending on experience

About the Role

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Computer Science Teacher to work in a Secondary School in Wigan. The role starts in January on a part time or full time basis. The successful candidate will take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching in a friendly, lively and vibrant school.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach KS3 and KS4 students, delivering engaging lessons in the ICT curriculum.
• Implement strong behaviour management strategies while adhering to school policies.
• Support the school’s delivery of the KS3, KS4 and KS5 Computer Science curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with the school’s education specialist team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., BA Hons).
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Have previous experience of working with children.
• Previous Computer Science teaching experience in line with KS3, 4 and 5 curriculums.
• Experience of delivering engaging lessons in the ICT curriculum.
• Two references covering the last 2 years working with children.
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
