Qualifications

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching Computer Science or ICT at secondary level.
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital education.
  • Be confident using a range of software, coding languages, and digital tools.
  • Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Be committed to supporting student progress.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Teach a range of computing and IT topics, including programming and cybersecurity.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and extra-curricular activities.

Overview

Tradewind Recruitment is excited to be working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Leicester, currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the potential to continue for the full academic year and possibly transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
