Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a knowledgeable Computer Science Lecturer to join a Further Education College in Greater Manchester on a temporary, full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, teach CS and IT topics, prepare learning materials and assessments, and monitor student progress to support achievement in a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science/IT.
• Experience in FE teaching desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Computer Science lessons to FE students.
• Teach relevant Computer Science and IT topics in line with the curriculum.
• Prepare learning materials, assignments, and assessments.

Location: Greater Manchester

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary, Full-Time

Hours: 36 hours per week

Pay Rate: £30-£40 per hour

About the Role

Eden Brown are seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and dedicated Computer Science Lecturer to join a Further Education College in Greater Manchester on a temporary, full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lecturer or an industry professional with a passion for education to support students in developing their knowledge, technical skills, and understanding of Computer Science and IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Computer Science lessons to FE students.
• Teach relevant Computer Science and IT topics in line with the curriculum.
• Prepare learning materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support achievement.

Requirements

• A degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related subject.
• Previous teaching or lecturing experience within Further Education is desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to student achievement, engagement, and progression.
• An enhanced DBS check or willingness to undertake the appropriate safeguarding checks.
