Job Title: CAD Designer

Location: Peterborough

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

We are currently seeking a CAD Designer to join a growing engineering team in Peterborough. This role will involve working on a variety of design projects, producing accurate drawings and models to support manufacturing and engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to translate concepts into accurate manufacturing drawings
• Support the development of new products and improvements to existing designs
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) and associated documentation
• Ensure designs meet technical requirements, quality standards, and deadlines

Requirements:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential)
• Previous experience as a CAD Designer or in a similar design role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
• Based local to Peterborough
• Full UK Driving license and car
