Hours of work:Full-time – 35 hours/week

Tenure:Fixed term for 3 years

Hybrid Working:2 days/week on Campus or minimum requirement of 40% on Campus, with 60% considered desirable where possible

Join the Computational Biology Facility (CBF) as a Research Software Engineer, working across a wide variety of projects spanning biological, ecological, and clinical settings. You'll be building bespoke software and analysis pipelines, working closely with data scientists, experimental researchers, and clinicians to turn tricky research problems into working tools.

At the CBF, our supportive environment encourages professional growth, fosters knowledge-sharing, and values creative ideas. You'll have plenty of scope to work independently, develop your own ideas, and contribute to publications, grants, and training as you go. This post is funded for 3 years and is offered hybrid, with at least two days a week on our Liverpool city centre campus.
