Qualifications

  • Strong aerospace experience with composite design and analysis.
  • Awareness of composite manufacturing processes and their implications.
  • Experience with flight test support or structural test correlation is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Designing composite airframe and aerostructure components in NX.
  • Performing analysis and sizing of composite structures.
  • Producing drawings, material definitions, reports, and release documentation.
  • Supporting manufacturing and structural test activities.
  • Helping establish internal standards for composite design.

Skills

Strong CAD capability in Siemens NX
Experience designing composite structures for airframes or aerostructures
Ability to assess loads and evaluate structural performance
Clear communication skills
Methodical engineering approach

Education

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
