Are you an experienced Composite Fitter / Finisher with a keen eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality tooling and components? Winsearch is supporting a specialist composites manufacturer in Leicestershire to recruit a number of skilled fitter to join their growing team. This is a hands‑on role involving trimming, fitting, finishing and assembling composite tools and components to exceptional standards in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.

Shifts available
  • Days - £22 per hour Ltd
  • Weekend Days (Fri - Sun) - £26 per hour Ltd
What You'll Be Doing
  • Trim, fit and finish composite tools and components to a high standard.
  • Assemble jigs and fixtures to support production requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Inspect finished components for surface defects and quality issues.
  • Carry out tool maintenance and support Total Preventative Management (TPM) activities.
  • Contribute to ongoing 5S and Lean manufacturing improvements.
  • Ensure customer delivery targets are met without compromising quality.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Composite Fitter or Laminator.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings confidently.
  • Strong understanding of composite structures, ideally with knowledge of race car and road car components.
  • Competent with manual measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Organised, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
