Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled Composite Laminator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-precision composite parts in a fast‑paced, quality‑focused environment.

Composite Laminator Roles and Responsibilities
  • Laminate tooling and components to create high‑quality composite parts
  • Apply sealants and release agents to patterns and moulds using appropriate compounds
  • Prepare tooling and components for curing using vacuum‑bagging techniques
  • Load and operate ovens and autoclaves to perform curing processes
  • Manufacture templates and cut kits for composite components
  • Ensure on‑time delivery of components while maintaining strict quality standards
  • Contribute to 5S and Lean manufacturing initiatives, supporting continuous improvement
Composite Laminator Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum of 2 years’ laminating experience within the composite industry
  • Experience in high‑performance composite fabrication
  • Practical experience operating autoclaves
  • Strong team player with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills and logical reasoning ability
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and laminating manuals
  • Self‑motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Desirable: knowledge of 5S/Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices
