Job summary

A leading composites manufacturer is seeking an experienced Composite Fitter to join their team. You will interpret engineering drawings and specifications to trim, fit, bond, and assemble composite components for high-performance applications in Motorsport, Automotive, and Aerospace. This role requires confidence with hand and power tools, strong attention to quality standards, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Qualifications

About the Role

As a Composite Fitter, you will play a key role in producing precision-engineered composite assemblies that meet exacting quality standards. Working from engineering drawings and work instructions, you'll carry out fitting, shaping, trimming, bonding, and assembly of a wide range of components.

You will :
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
  • Trim, shape and fit composite parts using hand and power tools.
  • Bond composite components using adhesives, resins and specialist materials.
  • Assemble parts in the correct sequence to ensure alignment, fit and finish.
  • Conduct visual inspections and identify defects or deviations.
  • Follow established quality procedures and health & safety standards.
