Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a composite or panel build role for rally or race cars within Motorsport.
  • Experience using carbon fibre and ability to work to technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a first-class composite finishing and repair service on and off event.
  • Prepare and maintain all composite components to a high presentation level.
  • Ensure awareness of quality or process issues during build and/or repair.
  • Adopt safe working practices in compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Maintain site standards according to company expectations.
  • Carry out other duties as requested by Rally Team management.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, prepared to work overtime without notice.

The Dacia Sandrider team have an exciting opportunity for a Composite/Bodywork Technician to join them in their quest to win the World Rally Raid Championship in the FIA Ultimate T1+ category. You will work with the team to maintain all carbon composite bodywork and components both on event and at the factory, ensuring quality of work and presentation of the panels meet the agreed standard. Extended periods of worldwide travel are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a first-class composite finishing and repair service on and off event.
  • Prepare and maintain all composite components to a high presentation level.
  • Ensure the Chief Technician is aware of any quality or process issues during build and/or repair.
  • Adopt safe working practices always in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policy.
  • Maintain site standards in accordance with company expectations.
  • Carry out other adhoc duties requested by the Rally Team management.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, prepared to work overtime, often without notice, as dictated by the demands of the business.
Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience within a composite or panel build role for rally or race cars within Motorsport. You will have experience using carbon fibre and able to work to technical drawings and build documentation.
