UTAC is seeking a Technical Quotation Expert for the Component section at the Bedford site with some home-working by agreement. You will be the technical reference in the Commercial team and the primary quote-writer for the Component Test Laboratory.

Responsibilities include technical review of RFQs, engaging with customers for details, coordinating with opportunity owners, and delivering fully priced proposals.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent in relevant Engineering discipline.
• Relevant engineering experience in automotive component testing; other component activities helpful.
• Sales/customer experience/mindset within an automotive or transportation setting.

Responsabilités

• Technical qualification of leads and opportunities.
• Interpret customer requirements and procedures.
• Provide consultative guidance to determine the optimum test solution.
• Support Sales in technical customer meetings.
• Compile technical information for quotations.
• Lead preparation of technical quotations and Statements Of Work (SOW).
• Consult with UTAC’s Expert Network and provide technical support to Commercial.
• Help achieve sales order intake forecasts within the assigned scope.
• Uphold UTAC behaviours at all times.
