Job summary

Thrive Group in Melksham is seeking a Compliance Technologist to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and technical support for products in the food/FMCG sector.

You will prepare specifications, check labelling, maintain supplier records and support new product development while ensuring compliance for UK and international markets. This is a full-time, office-based position in the Melksham area.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality Assurance or Technical role within food (chilled) / FMCG.
• Understanding of food safety, product specifications and labelling requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in food legislation, labelling and product compliance.
• Knowledge of BRC requirements and experience with New Product Development is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain accurate product specifications and technical information.
• Check product labels and artwork to ensure compliance with legislation and customer requirements.
• Maintain supplier records and support collection and review of technical documentation.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards, including BRC requirements.
• Respond to technical queries and collaborate with colleagues, suppliers and customers to resolve issues.
• Support technical and compliance aspects of new products as they progress through development.

If so, Thrive Trowbridge may have the role for you working for our client in the Melksham area who are actively looking to recruit a Compliance Technologist to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

• Product specifications: Preparing, reviewing and maintaining accurate product specifications and technical information.
• Labelling and artwork: Checking product labels and artwork to ensure they meet relevant legislation and customer requirements.
• Supplier compliance: Maintaining supplier records and supporting the collection and review of technical documentation.
• Quality assurance: Carrying out quality checks and helping ensure products meet required standards, including BRC requirements.
• Technical support: Responding to technical queries and working with colleagues, suppliers and customers to resolve issues.
• New Product Development: Supporting the technical and compliance aspects of new products as they progress through development.
