Job summary

Barclays is offering a 10-week Summer Intern role in Glasgow to gain hands-on experience in Compliance risk management. You will support a broad range of advisory activities, learn to monitor regulatory risks, and contribute to embedding new policies with guidance from experienced professionals.

Ideal candidates are in the penultimate year of university and graduating in 2028, with a genuine interest in Compliance and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year university student, graduating in 2028.

Responsibilities

• Guide and advise on compliance risk management principles within the function.
• Contribute to advisory services on regulation related to products and services.
• Utilise data and analytics to monitor and influence the Compliance risk landscape.
• Develop Compliance risk insights including laws, rules and regulations, financial crime and conduct.
• Support and train business stakeholders to embed policies and procedures.
