Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Compliance Senior Analyst for a 12‑month fixed term contract in the Greater London area. The role centers on promoting the compliance function as a trusted advisor and supporting day-to-day compliance activities, trainings, and regional risk reporting.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in global services or compliance/risk management.
  • Experience in international environment and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; other languages desirable.

  • Assist with rollout of trainings, meeting agendas, presentations, and regional collaboration.
  • Evaluate complex clients/topics and escalate to senior leadership with legal team.
  • Track and implement local risk-mitigating measures and consolidate regional risk reporting.
  • Serve as a primary contact for local staff on compliance topics and provide guidance.
  • Support compliance training, data validation, and reporting from stakeholders and Global Compliance.

About the Role

Position: Compliance Senior Analyst – 12‑month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the promotion of the compliance function as a trusted advisor.
  • Support day‑to‑day tasks relating to compliance programs (e.g., rollout of compliance trainings, setting up agendas for correspondence/meetings, drafting presentations, collaborating with other regional teams).
  • Support Senior Management and the System Commercial Advisory process through the evaluation of complex clients and/or topics, and collaborate with the legal team to elevate matters to senior leadership.
  • Track the local adaptation and implementation of risk‑mitigating measures (e.g., policies and processes).
  • Consolidate risk reporting/mitigation measures across systems for a regional view.
  • Act as a key point of contact for local system staff across all compliance topics.
  • Provide advice on compliance queries or connect staff to the most appropriate team to address them.
  • Support operational tasks related to compliance training and communication exercises.
  • Receive compliance‑related information/MI from business stakeholders or from the Global Compliance team and collate into timely reports.
  • Assist with compliance risk identification and compliance risk reporting.
  • Perform data validation and integrity checks on compliance datasets.
  • Support bottom‑up compliance risk identification exercises, including aggregating results and producing analysis and reports.
  • Assist project teams (as allocated by line manager) to ensure that compliance considerations are identified and recorded from inception to delivery.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience in an international working environment.
  • Experience in project management (Compliance and ethics, skilled researcher preferred).
  • Confidence engaging with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a demonstrable ability to operate with little oversight.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizing and balancing competing, time‑urgent demands.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding English written and oral communication skills, including clear and concise writing and editorial skills and excellent listening skills. Additional languages desirable.
What You’ll Bring
  • An academic degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in BCG global services, or 3–4 years in a compliance function or other risk‑management discipline such as audit, fraud examination, quality control, risk analysis within a financial/banking institution, professional services, consulting firm or international business.
  • Comfortable with, and preferably advanced knowledge of, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Trello, and exposure to business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Commitment to confidentiality required.
Team and Reporting

You will be part of the Regional Compliance Team, reporting to the Senior Director or one of their senior managers. The team operates within a network of regional compliance teams, with the Senior Director reporting to the Global Head of Compliance. In this role you will engage regularly with stakeholders and collaborators across the business, including Managing Directors and Partners, Regional and System Risk & Compliance Nodes, Legal, Finance, Risk, and more.
