Job summary

Bank of America in London is seeking a Compliance and Operational Risk Manager to oversee second-line oversight of Enterprise Position Monitoring & Disclosures (EPMD) across EMEA. This role ensures regulatory requirements are interpreted, implemented and embedded within the firm's processes and control framework.

The successful candidate will provide credible review and challenge to stakeholders, manage regulatory changes, and coach other team members while strengthening the bank's risk

Qualifications

• Ability to analyse regulatory requirements and apply them to complex business scenarios.
• Proven ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders across risk and front-line units.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement in complex risk matters.
• Ability to mentor and develop less experienced team members through technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct real-time independent review and challenge of EPMD alert activity.
• Provide oversight of regulatory changes, control enhancements and remediation initiatives.
• Perform monitoring and risk-based coverage to assess compliance with laws and regulations.
• Support development of second-line data testing to verify disclosures.
