  • Support the business in implementing new regulations and guidance; ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date and reflect current requirements; approve amendments as needed.
  • Aid in preparing and submitting accurate and timely regulatory reports to the FCA; liaise with them as required.

The main purpose of the role is to act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to the business on all aspects of regulation in this sector.

Horizon scanning will allow you to proactively monitor regulatory changes and emerging trends in the car financing sector, analysing their impact on business operations and providing clear and concise summaries to relevant stakeholders.

You will develop strong relationships with business units, understanding their regulatory needs and providing proactive and timely advice on compliance matters. This could be as a project support or in business-as-usual activity.

You will support the business in implementing new regulations and guidance, ensuring that policies and procedures are up-to-date and reflect current requirements, providing approval for amendments to those policies and procedures.

You will assist in preparing and submitting accurate and timely regulatory reports on behalf of the business to the FCA and liaise with them as needed.

Experience with Consumer Duty required.
