Job description

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and confident in administration? We're looking for a proactive Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team at Residential Management Group (RMG). In this key role, you'll help ensure regulatory and legal requirements are met efficiently and accurately, supporting both RMG and our clients.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week – a 7.5 hour shift between 8AM and 6PM. We offer flexible working hours around these times.

Location

You will be based at our offices in Northwich, CW97LN. This is a hybrid role consisting of 4 days per week in the office and 1 day from home. Initially you will be asked to work 5 days per week in the office until training is completed.

Responsibilities
  • Handle the administration of regulatory legal instructions and update internal databases, including the Building Management System, Compliance Database, and Salesforce.
  • Ensure Health & Safety and BSA requirements are instructed and accurately recorded (including LOLERs, Fire Risk Assessments, Water Risk Assessments, Fire Safety Regulations 2022, and EICRs).
  • Respond to internal and external compliance queries with clarity and professionalism, providing advice and solutions.
  • Support the resolution of non-compliance issues to reduce risk to the company and clients.
  • Identify and elevate risks to performance against compliance requirements.
  • Follow company processes, procedures, and policies at all times.
  • Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as required.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working in an office administration environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong time management, and organisational skills.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Word and Outlook; basic Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide consistently high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and collaboratively.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Experience in the property management industry with a basic understanding of compliance.
