They're a remote‑first business over 180 people across the UK, and they're looking for an organised and ambitious Compliance Officer to protect and grow with them.

What You'll Be Doing

As Compliance Officer for our client, you'll work closely with the Compliance Manager to help protect the business and their customers. You will be the backbone of the compliance function, ensuring day‑to‑day operations run smoothly and meet the highest standards.

  • Support the Compliance Manager in developing and maintaining the compliance framework.
  • Conduct regular compliance monitoring and audits to ensure the business is sticking to its policies and procedures.
  • Review marketing materials and financial promotions to ensure they are clear, fair, and not misleading.
  • Assist in performing risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential compliance risks.
  • Maintain accurate and organised compliance records and documentation.
  • Help prepare reports for the FCA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Provide support on compliance‑related queries from across the business.
Requirements

As the preferred candidate you will have :

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in a compliance or a related role within the UK financial services industry (mortgage experience is a big plus!).
  • A genuine interest in the world of compliance and a passion for doing things the right way.
  • Fantastic attention to detail and organisational skills – you love it when everything is in its right place.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
  • You're comfortable working in a fast‑paced, remote environment and are keen to learn and develop your skills.
  • A degree in a related field like law, finance, or business is great, but not essential.
