Job summary

JCW Group in London is seeking a Compliance & Legal professional to own regulatory matters across a lean, global business. You will work closely with Trading, Operations and Finance, taking ownership of compliance and contributing to international growth.

This hands-on role offers autonomy, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to shape the compliance framework as the business expands into new markets and products.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years’ relevant experience in compliance, ideally within commodities trading.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Good legal and contractual knowledge, with the ability to understand and assess commercial agreements.
• Experience with onboarding, KYC/AML and counterparty due diligence.
• Comfortable working independently and managing a varied remit.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and confident working with senior stakeholders.

This is a broad, hands-on role within a lean global business, offering significant autonomy and exposure across the organisation. You’ll work closely with Trading, Operations and Finance, taking ownership of compliance and regulatory matters while supporting the business through its continued international growth.
