Our client, a London-based hedge fund, is looking to hire a Compliance Manager on a permanent basis.

The role will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and will be part of a small team. Although the primary responsibilities will be trade surveillance, the jobholder will have the opportunity to work on other generalist compliance duties.

CORE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Regular analysis of both trade and communications alerts, focusing on market abuse
• General compliance monitoring
• Thematic reviews
• Compliance and market surveillance projects

REQUIREMENTS

• Trade surveillance experience working for an investment manager, bank, or broker
• Wider compliance experience would be a plus, but is not a requirement
