Job description
Overview

An established and fast-growing food manufacturer based in Park Royal is seeking a Compliance Manager to support the Technical function and ensure the site operates to the highest food safety, quality, and legal standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, detail-driven professional to take ownership of compliance systems, documentation, and audits — helping to build structure and consistency across a busy production site.

The role would suit someone who’s comfortable putting new systems in place, enjoys working cross-functionally, and has a strong understanding of technical compliance within food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the site’s compliance documentation and ensure systems meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Technical Manager in achieving and maintaining BRCGS and customer audit standards.
  • Lead internal audits, supplier approvals, and traceability exercises, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Develop and improve quality systems and procedures, embedding structure and best practice across departments.
  • Monitor allergen controls, labelling, and specification compliance.
  • Coordinate non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Act as a key contact during audits and inspections, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, working closely with Technical, Production, and NPD teams.
The Candidate

You’ll be an experienced Compliance or Quality professional from a food manufacturing background, confident in your ability to implement structure and maintain high standards under pressure.

You’ll bring:

  • A solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, and BRCGS systems.
  • Experience in audit preparation and compliance management within a manufacturing site.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to develop and streamline processes.
  • Confidence in communicating across all levels – from production teams to customers and auditors.
  • A proactive, practical approach and the confidence to challenge, improve, and lead by example.

This role would be ideal for someone ready to step up from Senior QA or Quality Systems Coordinator level into a more autonomous, site-focused position.
