Fox Morris Group is recruiting on behalf of our client (UK's leading multi-discipline building services contractors) for an experienced and motivated Compliance Manager for their offices in Worcestershire Council.

What you'll be doing:
  • Fire Safety Management & Compliance: Oversee the implementation and monitoring of fire safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments across corporate and maintained school premises, ensuring timely completion of fire tasks and compliance with legal standards.
  • Risk & Asset Data Oversight: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date databases of risk assessments, asset data, and statutory compliance schedules, enabling accurate reporting and effective management of safety measures.
  • Contractor & Supply Chain Management: Manage and monitor contractors for fire‑related services, ensuring competency, health & safety compliance, and performance against KPIs, including procurement, finance, and communication planning.
  • Training & Stakeholder Support: Ensure relevant training for fire safety personnel, support maintained schools with fire and non‑fire compliance, and deliver in‑house training where needed.
  • Incident Response & Escalation Procedures: Investigate fire incidents, enforce a three‑strike compliance system for maintained schools, and assume control through FM contracts when necessary, while ensuring regular reporting to stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
  • Extensive Contract & Project Management: Proven track record in mobilising, managing, and delivering large‑scale fire safety or property‑related contracts across diverse portfolios, including end‑to‑end project oversight.
  • Strong Compliance & Health and Safety Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage statutory compliance and ensure health & safety standards are met across complex environments.
  • Contractor & Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in managing contractors and negotiating with multiple key stakeholders to drive critical decisions and actions.
  • Budget & Performance Management: Significant experience managing budgets, monitoring performance, and delivering projects on time and within resource constraints.
  • Collaborative Working: Experienced in working within matrix and partnership environments, ensuring effective communication, planning, and delivery through multi‑agency collaboration.
