Job summary

A financial services organization in Camden Town is seeking a Compliance Governance Manager to coordinate compliance activities across the UK. You will manage regulatory reporting, maintain the regulatory inventory, and engage with stakeholders to meet regulatory obligations. Candidates should have extensive experience in compliance and familiarity with UK regulatory frameworks. Strong Excel skills are essential.

Job description
  • Coordinate the compliance governance and reporting activities across the UK, and liaise with regional teams to ensure consistency and control.
  • Manage and maintain the regulatory inventory, elevate regulatory change, support risk assessments and control monitoring.
  • Deliver/oversee testing, monitoring, issue remediation and reporting in accordance with the 1LOD (First Line of Defence) model.
  • Act as a key stakeholder interface: build relationships with business lines, 2LOD risk & compliance, and group functions to maintain control frameworks and respond to regulatory obligations.
  • Use data‑driven insight to identify trends, drive continuous improvement and enhance transparency of compliance governance.
  • Extensive experience in compliance governance, regulatory affairs or control oversight within a renowned financial services organisation.
  • Strong technical skills: advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, dashboards) and PowerPoint. Comfortable manipulating data and delivering insights into senior committee papers.
  • Familiarity with UK and European regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, PRA, MiFID II, SMCR, ESMA).
  • Conscientious, organised and comfortable working in a matrix environment: you'll be managing multiple stakeholders and delivering to tight deadlines.
