Role Purpose

Assist the Senior Manager in managing compliance functions with a focus on AML/CFT/CPF guidance, training, and monitoring. Provide ad hoc advice to the business and contribute to compliance effectiveness. Potential MLCO responsibilities based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ad hoc compliance advice and guidance to the business.
  • Ensure AML-related reviews are properly conducted and lessons integrated into training.
  • Contribute to policy development and compliance monitoring programs.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports, including appraisals and technical guidance.
  • Assist with compliance inductions and SAR investigations.
  • Support senior manager and participate in compliance meetings and decisions.
  • Optional MLCO duties: monitor compliance and training effectiveness.
Requirements
  • A-level education or equivalent.
  • ICA or relevant compliance diploma or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements and AML.
  • Minimum 5 years compliance experience, preferably in legal environment.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, prioritisation, and time management skills.
  • Confidence to interact with senior stakeholders and solution-driven attitude.
  • Adhere to firm policies and AML regulations.
  • Commit to CPD and continuous skill development.
  • Flexibility for occasional extended hours and business travel.
