Based in Teddington, London

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused Compliance Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Operations Manager to oversee compliance across cleaning, logistics, and customs operations for a large laboratory site. Your mission: ensure adherence to client standards, legal requirements, and best practices in health and safety.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with people, systems, and standards to drive continuous improvement.

As a Compliance Manager, you’ll:
  • Lead compliance audits and site inspections to maintain health, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Train and support supervisors on Health & Safety and logistical processes, ensuring knowledge is cascaded effectively across all site staff.
  • Develop and implement internal health and safety policies aligned with current legislation.
  • Advise teams on risk assessments and ensure robust risk controls are in place and regularly updated.
  • Collaborate with managers and site teams to embed a strong compliance culture.
As a Compliance Manager, you’ll have:
  • Proven experience in compliance or health and safety—ideally within facilities management or the public sector.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to plan ahead, work under pressure, and influence at senior levels.
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety systems within the logistics industry.
  • A methodical, multi-tasking approach and resilience under pressure.
  • A satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
