This business is a rapidly expanding provider of private health and protection services, known for putting clients first through honest advice and ethical practice. Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead & develop a team of four experienced compliance professionals, championing professional growth and high standards.
  • Own all regulatory compliance activity, including FCA, ICO/GDPR, complaints, monitoring and oversight frameworks.
  • Act as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies (including FCA and ICO), ensuring clear, timely communication.
  • Provide clear, practical guidance to operational and commercial teams, helping the business grow responsibly.
  • Review and approve marketing, client communications and processes to ensure regulatory accuracy and fairness.
  • Drive improvement, identifying risks, trends and opportunities to strengthen governance and customer outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of FCA regulations, GDPR, and UK financial services compliance frameworks.
  • Experience handling complaints, FCA/FOS matters, and regulatory reporting.
  • Proven background within insurance, health protection, or wider financial services.
  • Demonstrable experience leading or mentoring compliance professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to challenge constructively and influence with clarity.
  • Experience within Private Medical Insurance (PMI) or health‑related products (desirable).
