Compliance Manager – Northampton – Global Company

We are currently recruiting for a global construction manufacturer who employ over 10,000 people, turnover around £6 billion globally and are known for their quality and innovation. This is a senior position in the business for a Compliance Manager which is essential for safeguarding the company’s operational integrity. This is a role which gives you a lot of autonomy, you will develop policies and oversee all aspects of the compliance team.

Role:
  • Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps.
  • Manage and mentor the members of the compliance team ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, industry associations, and external auditors on compliance matters.
  • Accountable for enhancing and maintaining company standards for carrying out site surveys and supporting the Site Technicians' smooth running and completion of projects.
  • Encourage and drive a culture of continuous improvement and compliance awareness throughout the organisation.
Candidate:
  • In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and standards applicable to the construction/building materials industry.
  • Has a strong understanding of compliance with a technical product.
  • Experience leading and managing a team would be ideal.
  • Someone who can communicate clearly verbally and in writing on what they need.
  • Someone who can understand the concept of a system, not just a product.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including major complaint investigation.
  • Strong attention to detail, resilience, self-motivation, and a flexible, team-player approach.
