Overview

Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading energy company committed to sustainability, innovation, and continual improvement to recruit a Compliance Manager for its UK Energy from Waste and Biomass power plants on an 18 month fixed term contract.

This Compliance Manager role has a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 plus bonus up to 12.5%, 33 days of annual leave including bank holidays and more. This is a home-based role; ideally you would be located in or near the Cambridgeshire area.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Head of Development, maintain and enhance the organisation's Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure continued compliance with ISO standards.
  • Conduct internal audits across UK sites to monitor and improve adherence to legal, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Manage and update legal and statutory registers, ensuring all obligations are identified and met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support compliance reporting, including environmental and corporate sustainability requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on IMS procedures and compliance best practice.
  • Prepare and submit compliance and performance reports within agreed deadlines.
