About the Role

As Compliance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring continued compliance across Hard FM services, including electrical and mechanical systems, fire safety, water hygiene, and other statutory requirements. You'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, legally compliant, and high-performing estate. This role may also offer the opportunity to mentor an apprentice, helping to develop future talent in compliance and estates management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on all aspects of compliance across technical services, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, confidently raising and addressing sensitive or high-risk issues with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust systems are in place for monitoring, reporting, and auditing compliance performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to deliver services professionally and cost-effectively.
  • Support and lead site audits including health & safety, environmental, quality, and finance.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in compliance or estates management within regulated environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of CDM regulations, Health & Safety standards (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent), and Quality Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively when needed.
  • Financial awareness, including experience with WIP, billing, and budget control.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
  • A passion for mentoring and developing others.
Why Join Us?
  • Be a key voice in maintaining a safe and compliant estate.
  • Work in a role where integrity and professionalism are valued and supported.
  • Enjoy opportunities for professional development and mentoring.
