Compliance Manager, Northamptonshire, £45,000+ (DOE) – This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in maintaining and developing this firm’s compliance and risk management framework.

THE ROLE
  • You will be responsible for a varied caseload to include, overseeing compliance with the SRA Handbook and Code of Conduct, managing and monitoring Anti-Money Laundering procedures, Data Protection compliance, delivering staff training on risk and compliance updates and overseeing Health & Safety compliance
  • You will also manage Legal 500 submissions and related compliance, support the COLP & COFA in their regulatory duties and maintaining and updating the firm’s risk and compliance policy and register
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of the rules and regulations governing legal practice, and a strong desire to ensure best practice across all areas of the business.
  • Previous experience in a compliance-focused environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise effectively under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional telephone manner
