Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd partners with a leading financial services organisation to recruit a Senior Compliance Specialist. You will work with senior leadership to embed robust compliance frameworks, advise on regulatory impact, and promote a culture of ethical conduct and customer protection.

The role covers UK GDPR, AML, FCA, HMRC, SRA and Consumer Duty, with hybrid working and a salary between £50,000 and £65,000.

Qualifications

• Proven compliance experience within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance monitoring.
• Knowledge of UK GDPR, AML, FCA, HMRC, SRA and Consumer Duty requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing compliance frameworks and governance arrangements.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and advising on business impact.
• Leading compliance monitoring and assurance programmes.
• Conducting thematic reviews and assessing control effectiveness.
• Supporting regulatory audits, inspections and enquiries.
• Overseeing complaints governance and consumer outcome monitoring.
• Supporting GDPR and data protection compliance activities.
• Delivering compliance guidance and training across the organisation.
• Contributing to risk, governance and regulatory change initiatives.
