Job summary

Volunteer Centre is seeking a Compliance Inspector to perform inspections, audits and quality assurance to ensure properties and processes meet statutory, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements.

You will identify compliance gaps, monitor actions and work with teams to safeguard residents, staff and visitors’ safety while maintaining high standards across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring contractor or partner performance.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Job description

We’re seeking a Compliance Inspector to play a key role in providing independent assurance that the organisation’s properties, systems, and compliance activities meet statutory, regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The postholder will undertake inspections, audits, and quality assurance activities across the property portfolio to ensure compliance obligations are identified, monitored, and effectively managed, supporting the safety of residents, staff, and visitors.

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of property compliance, health & safety inspections, or facilities management
• Experience of monitoring contractor or partner performance
• Experience of working with compliance data, systems, or reporting
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a range of people
• Ability to manage different tasks and priorities at any one time
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Teams
