JTH Recruitment are currently seeking a Compliance Engineer to work for our successful and reputable engineering client.

My client are offering a competitive salary + company car + overtime.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure compliance of all the company related activities to the requirements of the CDM 2015 Regulations. Co-ordinate site safety management activities with project tasks including food safety arrangements. Arrange and manage construction site activities to meet client needs in the design, planning and delivery of food processing systems.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • CDM Arrangements
  • Support Principal Designer duties.
  • Act as Principal Contractor for construction related projects.
  • Support development of pre-construction information
  • Develop construction phase safety plans.
  • Site Safety Management
  • Site safety management of project works
  • Liaison with resource providers
  • Management of day-to-day site arrangements
  • Audit & inspection of site activities
  • Incident investigation and management
  • Technical Support
  • Technical input at quotation stage including budget costings
  • Support installation activities relating to CDM
  • Provide training and technical bulletins to relevant parties
Skills, Training and Experience Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate and/or Construction Certificate.
  • CITB SMSTS qualification
  • Minimum three years of demonstrable site safety management
  • Preferably first aid trained.
  • Clean driving license
