We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Compliance & Audit Analyst to join our Waste Management team at Southern Water. This is an exciting new role with plenty of scope to develop and grow as you make it your own. You'll be at the heart of ensuring our third-party suppliers deliver high-quality waste services across the region, with a particular focus on hazardous waste, grit and screenings, and tankering. This isn't just a desk job - you'll be involved in auditing, planning, and resolving real-world operational issues. You'll work closely with teams across the business to make sure jobs are done right, on time, and safely, while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
At Southern Water, we're passionate about protecting the environment and providing outstanding service to our customers. That starts with supporting our people.
As well as a great salary package, we also offer the below benefits!
You will also have the opportunity to work on a range of projects across our waste operations, giving you exposure to different areas of the business and a platform to grow your career.
You will partake in an out of hours rota to support with incident management, full training and rota details will be shared at interview.
Does this opportunity excite you but you're not 100% sure if you meet all the requirements for the role? Or are you concerned that 'normal' office hours aren't possible given your personal circumstances? Whilst we can't accommodate every flexible working request, we'll try to find a practical solution. So why not engage with us and find out more about this role?
Please note: If you are an existing Southern Water employee, you will need to confirm within your application that your manager is aware of your application.

You will need to provide evidence of eligibility (e.g. a passport or long birth certificate and proof of NI) and current proof of address (dated within the last 3 months), will be required as part of the recruitment process. If you do not meet these criteria, your application will not be considered.
