Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking a Compliance & Assurance Specialist to strengthen governance, risk, and assurance across IT infrastructure. You will drive compliance programs, controls, and documentation, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities include leading assurance activities, producing audit evidence, and supporting internal/external audits, with a focus on vulnerability remediation and continuous improvement in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain SC Clearance.
• Proven experience in Compliance, Governance, Risk, Assurance, or Audit-related roles.
• Strong IT Infrastructure knowledge.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking technologies and security controls.
• Experience working within critical national infrastructure or highly regulated sectors.
• Familiarity with risk management methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrable experience producing professional audit and compliance documentation.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance activities and meet deadlines.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working within regulated or security-conscious environments.

• Develop, maintain, and improve compliance processes, controls, standards, and governance documentation.
• Prepare professional audit evidence packs and support internal and external audits.
• Conduct compliance assessments, control reviews, and assurance activities.
• Monitor compliance against regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.
• Identify compliance gaps, risks, and control weaknesses and drive remediation activities.
• Produce clear, accurate, and executive-level compliance reports and dashboards.
• Maintain policies, procedures, standards, and control documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure infrastructure services remain compliant with required standards and frameworks.
• Support risk management activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a trusted compliance advisor to technical and business stakeholders.
