Larbey Evans Ltd is seeking an ambitious Compliance Assistant to build a career in legal compliance within a US law firm client. The role focuses on AML/CTF obligations and other economic crime regulations, supporting the Compliance Unit and advising on compliance requirements.

The position offers hybrid working with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, and a salary up to £45,000 with excellent employee benefits.

Formación

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar compliance role, ideally within a law firm.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• An interest in using technology to enhance business processes.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain knowledge of the Firm’s AML/CTF policies, controls and procedures
• Support client due diligence (CDD) investigations and ongoing monitoring
• Conduct PEP, adverse media and sanctions screening, escalating red flags as appropriate
• Maintain and update CDD records
• Advise lawyers and assistants on AML compliance requirements
• Support the Compliance Unit intranet and internal audits, investigations and compliance reporting
• Provide general day-to-day support to the Compliance Team
