Location: Melbourne or Sydney
Join our Core Compliance team as a Compliance Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in breach reporting investigations and regulatory submissions. Reporting to the Senior Partner – Breach Reporting & Regulatory Submissions, you’ll be responsible for assessing and reporting on incidents, managing multiple ongoing investigations, and assisting with regulatory reporting to bodies such as ASIC, APRA, ACCC, and BCCC. Your work will directly support the organisation’s commitment to meeting its breach reporting obligations and maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
This Sydney or Melbourne‑based role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the Group, validate incident and breach information, and draft clear, accurate breach notifications for senior review and approval. You’ll also contribute to insightful reporting on trends and emerging risks and have the chance to broaden your experience by supporting the wider Core Compliance team in areas such as conflicts of interest management, policy lifecycle, compliance training and continuous improvement. This is a max term role with a preferred immediate start and an end date of October 2026.
You have acquired the relevant legal qualifications and are eager to step into the financial services sector and build your career in compliance. With a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills, you thrive in environments where critical thinking and problem‑solving are essential. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to convey moderately complex information with clarity, and you are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels to ensure accurate and timely reporting. You are adept at managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines, and your positive, enthusiastic approach drives your dedication to continuous improvement and learning.
