Consider this an excellent career move if you have 2-3 years of experience.

This organisation prides itself on its collaborative culture, high standards, and genuine commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes. You’ll be joining a supportive environment where your ideas, expertise and professional development are truly valued.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Compliance Officer, you’ll be part of a small but high-performing compliance function, helping to oversee the firm’s regulatory responsibilities and strengthen its risk management framework. Your work will directly contribute to business assurance, operational integrity, and continued growth.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and building strong working relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Compliance Officer
  • Contributing to the compliance monitoring plan and wider control framework
  • Reviewing business data, identifying risks, and escalating issues appropriately
  • Helping design and improve processes and internal controls
  • Producing accurate MI and supporting FCA submissions
  • Providing compliance support, guidance and training to operational teams
  • Keeping up to date with FCA regulations and industry developments
  • Updating manuals, policies and procedure documents
  • Playing an active part in internal committees and risk-related discussions
About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both an interest in learning, with some experience in an Operational or Compliance environment, and the right mindset; curious, thorough, proactive, and confident working with stakeholders at every level.

You will have:
  • 2+ years’ experience in operations, compliance, risk, business assurance, or similar
  • Experience within an FCA-regulated business (essential)
  • A understanding of FCA rules and how to apply them
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Aspirations to progress through qualifications such as CICI Level 4 and Level 6.
  • Commitment to continued professional development
Why This Role?
  • Fast-growing, award-winning firm with an excellent reputation
  • Genuine career development and future progression opportunities
  • A collaborative culture where your contribution matters
  • Hybrid working and a supportive, modern working environment
  • A brilliant opportunity in Salisbury, saving you the commute out of the city.
