A recruitment agency is seeking a Compliance Administration Coordinator to assist in delivering and implementing housing service plans in Barnsley. Compliance Administration Coordinator

Reed is currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a Compliance Administration Coordinator. This role is crucial in assisting with the delivery and implementation of housing service plans, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.

  • Rate: £14.82 PAYE hourly (umbrella rate also available)
  • Location: Hybrid - 3 days in the office (Barnsley), 2 working from home. Training weeks will be full time in the office
  • Job Type: Contract
Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the delivery and implementation of strategic housing plans and performance management frameworks.
  • Contribute to service improvements aimed at increasing effectiveness, efficiency, and eliminating waste.
  • Prepare reports for Compliance Officers on installations, repairs, maintenance, and job costs.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standing orders.
  • Handle queries and enquiries from tenants, clients, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare correspondence and manage information for final accounts and valuations.
  • Process requisitions for materials and equipment, and raise orders as directed.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contractors' qualifications.
  • Provide technical support on capital works projects and repairs and maintenance.
  • Offer administrative support for team meetings, including minute-taking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent, or relevant experience in a similar field.
  • Experience in Construction, Engineering, Maintenance, or Manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to provide technical support to operational management.
  • Substantial knowledge of service delivery within Construction, Repairs, and Maintenance.
  • Understanding of Financial Regulations related to procurement.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and bespoke databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel as necessary and work flexible hours to meet service needs.
