A leading education recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an experienced Outreach Tutor to provide personalized education to young individuals with complex needs. The role involves planning and delivering lessons that enhance academic and life skills. Ideal candidates will have QTS and experience working with SEN learners. This position offers flexible hours and a salary of £25 per hour.
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people with complex needs who are not currently attending school.
As an Outreach Tutor, you will create, plan, and deliver highly personalised lessons that focus on building confidence and engagement in core subjects such as English and Maths. Many of these learners have significant additional needs and may be fully reliant on adults for care, including the use of wheelchairs.
This role is ideal for a tutor who is passionate about inclusive education and can adapt lessons to meet individual needs. Experience with communication systems such as Makaton and PECS would be highly beneficial.
Your role will involve reintroducing structure and routine into the student's day, supporting both academic and life skills development. Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor progress and provide ongoing support to ensure effective learning outcomes.
